Over the past few years, I’ve been fortunate enough to work side by side with the owner of La Vinya, a wine and coffee bar located in the heart of a small Danish town in Søhøjlandet. What started as a simple T-shirt design has grown into a long-term collaboration where I now handle most of the bar’s marketing and art direction — with full trust and creative freedom. This has created a unique synergy where design is allowed to take center stage, almost becoming a “third pillar” alongside wine and coffee. Together, we’ve helped shape a community: La Vinya is no longer just a bar, but a social hub, a network, and a place where people genuinely connect.
The graphic style and tone are just one part of it — my role as Art Director at La Vinya has also been very much about consultancy and community building through the brand’s tone of voice, developed together with the owner. It’s about building collaborations with other brands, making sure the right people hear about them, and then being present on the day of the event to capture and document it. Proper documentation through Reels and photos for social media not only drives engagement in the moment but also generates stronger visibility and awareness for the next time we reach out. We’ve carried out a range of projects along the way — here’s one example, a collaboration with Dermologica.
I have worked at the intersection of community building and graphic design for events. The visual universe builds on La Vinya’s established identity, ensuring consistency and recognizability, while at the same time developing its own direction tailored to each event.
In addition, I designed and developed the website, which you can see here.
